Smash Fashion, sa adresom u Los Angelesu, USA, djeluju od 2004. godine. Bogato muzičko iskustvo daje im lakoću da u svoj muzički izraz implementiraju razne muzičke stilove kao što su 50’s rock and roll, 60’s Mod, Glitter rock, Power pop, Psychedelia, 70’s hard rock i punk. Smash Fashion su: Roger Deering – glavni vokal, gitara ; Lloyd Stuart Casson – solo gitara, prateći vokal ; Reijo “Repo” Kaupilla – bubnjevi ; Tony Kinman – bass gitara, vokali.

Smash Fashion, već od prvog riffa kojim započinje njihov album “Big Cat Love”, jasno pokazuju da su neprikosnoveni majstori na terenu glam rocka. Čvrst četveročetvrtinski ritam, dobro uigrane gitare, skladni vokali – glavne su odlike na albumu prezentovanog muzičkog materijala. Glam rock je znatno evaluirao i uznapredovao od vremena kada je njegovim predvodnikom bio “leader of the gang” – Gary Glitter.
Manje upućeni znaju reći – kako biti originalan kada se raspolaže sa samo sedam nota (C, D, E, F, G, A, H). Zar sve knjige svijeta nisu napisane sa samo 30 slova? Pravi kompozitor iskoristit će mnoga dodatna sredstva kako bi svoje muzičko djelo načinio unikatnim, prepoznatljivim, različitim u odnosu na druga muzička djela. Na raspolaganju su mu različit takt, ritam, dinamika, harmonija, melodija, aranžman… Kombinacije su nebrojene. Smash Fashion se tu dobro snalaze. Na oko jednostavne kompozicije aranžmanski su obogatili sa raznim harmonskim rješenjima.
U svojoj biografiji još uvijek sa ponosom nabrajaju poznate bendove kojima su bili “opening act”. Ubjeđen sam da je sa albumom “Big Cat Live” došlo vrijeme da Smash Fashion postane “headliner” nekih budućih festivala.

Smash Fashion, from the first riff that opens their album “Big Cat Love”, clearly shows that they are the undisputed masters in the field of glam rock. Sturdy 4/4 rhythm, well-coordinated guitars, harmonious vocals – are the main features on the album presented musical material. Glam rock was considerably evaluated and progressed since the time when its first liner was a “leader of the gang” – Gary Glitter.
Less insider know to say – how can be original when it has only seven notes (C, D, E, F, G, A, H). Are not all the books of the world written only with 30 letters? The real composer will use many additional resources to make their musical works unique, distinctive, different from the other musical acts. There are a different tacts, rhythms, dynamics, harmonies, melodies, arrangements … The combinations are endless. Smash Fashion there are getting on well. At about the simple composition, arranging enriched with various harmonic solutions.
In its biography Smash Fashion still proudly lists the known bands for which they were “opening act”. I am honestly convinced that with the album “Big Cat Live” time came for the Smash Fashion to become the “headliner” of some future festivals.
