Marko Pavić je Beograđanin sa rimskom adresom. Nije nepoznato ime na talijanskoj rock sceni. Znaju ga i cijene kao vrsnog gitaristu i band leadera grupe Pavic. Prvi album bend Pavic snimio je 2005. godine – “Taste Some Liberty” ; a drugi 2008. godine – “Unconditioned”. Trenutno im je na tržištu treći album, publikovan 2014. godine i nazvan “Is War The Answer?”.
Postava benda Pavic se vremenom mijenjala, a trenutni lineup je: Joe Calabro: vokali / Marko Pavić: gitare / Aleks Ferrara: bass / Lorenzo Antonelli: klavijature / Antonio Aronne: bubnjevi. Album “Is War The Answer?” sadrži 10 kompozicija koje su djelo svih članova benda, osim pjesme “Notorious”, koja je Duran Duran cover.
Bend Pavic svira čvrsti melodic rock i zvuči svjetski. Tome su doprinosa dali članovi koji su sa raznih podneblja, a i post producent, veoma bitan faktor, koji je doveden iz Amerike – Rick Beato.
Album otvara naslovna kompozicija i odmah se ide nasigurno – bez kalkulisanja. Svaka nadolazeća pjesma vas sigurnim koracima uvodi u muzički svijet benda Pavic i drži vašu pažnju od početka do kraja albuma. Miks brzih i laganih pjesama je uspješno raspoređen po disku tako da vam poslije pjesama koje vas tjeraju da cupkate, naiđu pjesme koje vas “odmore”, tek zakratko, jer odmah slijedi novi rafal muzike i ritma.
Muzika benda Pavic ne donosi ništa novo, oni ne reskiraju. Sviraju kao mnogi drugi bendovi sličnog muzičkog usmjerenja, ali ni malo lošije od mnogih od njih. Usprkos svemu rečenom, preporučam ih i vama za slušanje.
Marko Pavic is from Belgrade with a Roman address. He is not an unknown name on the Italian rock scene. He is known, and priced as a skilled guitarist and band leader of the group Pavic. The first album the band Pavic recorded in 2005 – “Taste Some Liberty”; and the other album in 2008 – “Unconditioned”. Currently they market their third album, published in 2014 and titled “Is War The Answer?”.
The lineup Pavic has changed, and the current lineup is: Joe Calabro: vocals / Marko Pavic: guitar / Alex Ferrara: bass / Lorenzo Antonelli: keyboards / Antonio Aronne: drums. The album “Is War The Answer?” contains 10 compositions which are the work of all the band members, except the song “Notorious”, which is Duran Duran cover.
The band Pavic plays hard, melodic rock and sounds like any good band on global level. This was the result of contribution by band members who are from different climates, and post producer, a very important factor, which was brought from America – Rick Beato.
The album opens with the title composition and immediately goes to a safe place – without any calculations. Any upcoming song with sure steps is introducing to you the musical world of the band Pavic and holds your attention from start to finish the album. A mix of fast and light songs was successfully deployed for the disc so that later songs that force you feet starts moving, encountering songs that you “rest”, only for a short time, because immediately followed by a new burst of music and rhythm.
Music of band Pavic does not bring anything new, they do not take big risks. They play as many other bands similar music expression, but not a bit worse than many of them. Despite that, I recommend them to you for listening.
